My First Entry
This is my first entry. I wanted to start a blog on livejournal, but my computer doesn't let me access that site very well so I came here.
Last night I saw the movie Donnie Darko, the full thing, and it is the best movie in the world. It leaves you there to stop and stare...in...awe...and contimplate the entire thing. Like Blair said, you can think about it and analyze it as many times as you want, but it will never have a conclusion. Its just a wow movie. Wax on, wax off....hahahah, sorry just an inside jokish thingy..? Yeah, that was how James explained it. It actually works if you've seen the movie, but Adam explained it the best. I personally think that Donnie was like the interpreter and the one girl was a representation of "God" or high power and the rabbit, "Frank" was a representation of the devil. Donnie realized each side of it and realized that he had to wax himself off of reality because he realized everything, and the rabbit was the insight into that. At the end, the wave kind of represents the girlfriend and the mother both recongizing what Donnie had realized sub-conciously...so then they had to figure out what they already knew too. I developed that theory after listening to everyone elses and putting them together...heheh. What a movie.
Anyway, today I'm hanging out with my family after sleeping over at Maria's, I don't know what we're going to do but HOPEFULLY it'll be fun...HOPEFULLY.
